Requirements

The following are suggested minimum requirements for the environment where you will run the Syniti Replicate Replication Agent. The actual requirements depend very much on your environment and your data replication needs. For more information, contact technical support via the Help Center.

• The system where the Replication Agent is running should have at least a quad-core processor, 8 GB memory and 100 GB hard disk space.
• .NET Framework 4.8 or higher must be installed.
• You need a .NET connection to the database(s) that you want to use in replication (except in cases where an ODBC driver is supported.) Check the Database Access Provider List in the Help Center, the appropriate setup guide for your database in the Help Center, or the Database-Specific Settings section in this guide.

For the Metadata used by Syniti Replicate, you can use:

• A local database, SQL Server Express Edition, is recommended

• A remote database like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase ASE, or DB2 LUW
