Oracle Remote Log Server Agent

The Oracle Remote Log Server Agent (RLSA) can be used for replicating from an Oracle source when the standard Log Server Agent option does not meet performance requirements in your environment. The RLSA option involves installing a Java application and JDBC driver on the Oracle server to read the log directly and communicate changes to Syniti Data Replication.

To use the RLSA, follow directions in the Setup Notes for Oracle Remote Log Server Agent Replications in the Help Center. To summarize, you will need to:

• Install the Remote Log Server Agent Java application on the Oracle server

• Install an Oracle JDBC driver on the Oracle server

• In the Enable Transactional Replication wizard, check the Remote Log Server Agent option.

• After setting up your replication(s), run the RLSA application.
