Syniti Data Replication supports use of Oracle (on-premise and cloud) for:
- Refresh replications, both source and target
- Mirroring replications, both source and target. For source connections, Syniti Data Replication offers the Log Server Agent, transaction log support , triggers and Remote Log Server Agent.
- Synchronization
When setting up Oracle for use with the Log Server Agent:
- Configure Log Server Agent (Windows Service) settings in the Connection wizard, providing file locations for log details.
When setting up Oracle for use with transaction logs/Log Miner:
- If database is set to ARCHIVELOG mode, check Read Archived Logs options when configuring the source connection (Management Center).
When setting up Oracle for use with a Remote Log Server Agent:
- Install Java component on the Oracle server system. See the specific setup notes for this approach in the Help Center.
