Amazon S3 Topics

Syniti Data Replication supports use of Amazon S3 for:

• Refresh replications, target only.
• Mirroring replications, target only.

When setting up Amazon S3 for use with Syniti Data Replication:

• Install the AWS Toolkit for .NET from
  https://aws.amazon.com/sdk-for-net/
  Syniti DRwill later need the pathnames to two of the DLLs in the SDK. Make sure you have the path available when you configure the target connection to Amazon S3.

• Set up your AWS account. You can use either an IAM role or access keys to manage access to your account from Syniti DR. If using access keys, store both the Access Key and Secret Access Key where you will be able to find them when configuring your target connection to Amazon S3. If using an IAM role, store the details where you will be able to find them when configuring your target connection to Amazon S3. The credentials are needed to access an S3 bucket.
